Local public transport does not always consist of the obvious means of transport. In addition to buses, trams and underground trains, ferries are also on the road in many places during the warmer seasons, bringing commuters across rivers and lakes around the world. Stockholm is now working on the sustainability of this means of transport, the fastest electric ferry is coming on the waterways.
