Electric car market shares in Switzerland 2021

In the year 2020 purely battery-electric cars accounted for 8.2% of new registrations. In January 2021 this number drops to 6.8%, so I hope that the positive signals from the federal government will result in a significant increase in the next few months.

This 2021 is only one month old and still marked by the corona lockdown. The electric cars got off to a weak start with a market share of 6.8%, so I expect a lot more. Also thanks to the VBS, which wants to clearly rely on electric cars in the future , and the positive reporting from SRF Kassensturz .
